The Month of MARCH makes me think of green (Which is great because it’s my favorite color!), four leaf clovers, Ireland, rainbows, little men guarding little pots of gold, my favorite cereal growing up (Lucky Charms), and LUCK. Oh, and I suddenly want to speak with an Irish accent, though I’m not very good at it. ;0) I found the perfect poem to welcome March:
I KNOW a place where the sun is like gold
And the cherry blooms burst forth with snow;
And down underneath is the loveliest nook,
Where the four-leaved clovers grow.
One leaf is for Hope, and one is for Faith,
And one is for Love, you know,
And God put another one in for Luck,
If you search you will find where they grow.
But you must have Hope, and you must have Faith,
You must love and be strong, and so
If you work, if you wait, you will find the place,
Where the four-leaf clovers grow.
~ Ella Higginson
The year is marching on. I hope we find our four-leaf clovers, continue loving one another, and keep climbing toward our goals.
Lots of LUCK! (And a BIG bowl of Lucky Charms!) ~ Susiebloom
